Medium-Large Lattice Window Watercolour Sketchbook

$79.00
sold out

This whimsical watercolor sketchbook features a peek-through window inspired by traditional Chinese lattice designs, reminiscent of those I admired in my grandmother's village in Southern China. The window invites you to open the book and reveal the vibrant chiyogami endpapers on the other side.

~details~

  • bound with commercial bookcloth for durability

  • 6.25 × 8.25 inches (16 × 21 cm)

  • 32 pages, 140 lb/300 gsm (choose between Arches cold-press or Hahnemühle hot-press 100% cotton watercolour paper)

The window piece is glued in place, but avoid putting any force or pokey objects on and around the window as it can be fragile. Will not lay flat completely, use non-damaging clips or weights to keep the book open.

Most orders will ship on the week of December 9th. I have a few that are ready to ship and the rest are almost finished. I’m just waiting on a bookcloth order to finish the job.
